Advance STEM capability
Join the STEM IMPACT Network to advance STEM or STEAM capability at your school.
Develop a plan that targets your class or school-wide objectives or problem of practice. We support your focus on one or more of the following:
-
Effective pedagogical practices – inspire and support teachers to collaboratively design and deliver more effective, engaging, and authentic STEM/STEAM learning programs.
-
Innovative curriculum design – align and integrate the STEM/STEAM learning areas, and general capabilities, and ensure ‘vertical’ and ‘horizontal’ alignment of the Australian Curriculum.
-
Differentiated teaching and learning – address diverse learning needs and empower students to take ownership of their learning and develop future-ready capability.

12-month partnership
STEM IMPACT membership includes 12 months of access to workshops, masterclasses and member collaborations. We offer expert guidance, personalised support and access to a collaborative network of like-minded members. We also connect you with the relevant Department of Education units who can provide further assistance.
Target audience
Principals, school leaders and teachers from schools, centres and alternative education settings are encouraged to join the STEM IMPACT Network.
- Small schools are welcome to register 1 staff member.
- Medium and large schools are advised to involve at least 2 members initially, with a view to growing membership and developing a STEM Leadership or Innovation Team involving school leaders and key teachers.
